When applying to the new position, two things matter most – for both candidates and employers: skills and cultural fit.

At Kodality, we look for people who not only care about clean code and high standards, but who also share the values that shape the way our elite task force works together.

As we open opportunities for junior developers (both internship and regular position), we want you to show us your technical potential, and to get an introduction to the world of Kodality: the guiding principles that drive how we collaborate, learn, and deliver impact every day.

Below is the four-step journey to kickoff your career with us at the start of 2026.

1. Trust Above All – Apply

By applying, you trust us with your basic professional information. In return, we give your application careful, thoughtful attention.

To help us evaluate your strengths, make sure your CV includes:

  • the skills you already feel confident in,
  • projects you’ve contributed to,
  • technologies and languages you’ve worked with,
  • and any achievements or experiences you’re proud of.

This is your chance to tell your story. Use it fully.

Applications will be open from 5 January to 18 January 2026.

2. Quality First – Test Assignment

Quality is our polar star. It’s the foundation of how we build critical systems, and we want to see that it matters to you too.

Your test assignment will be shared right after the application period closes, and you’ll have one week, 19 to 25 January, to complete it. Apply the knowledge you already have, explore topics you’re curious about, read, research, and learn along the way.

We’re always here to support you, but independence is one of the superpowers we value. Try to solve things on your own first, experiment, and enjoy the process. Yes, having fun also matters.

3. Commit to the Team – Interviews

Candidates who demonstrate strong thinking and commitment to quality in their test assignments will be invited to interviews during the first half of February. This is a brilliant opportunity to meet some of our team members.

During the interview, you will:

  • receive constructive, practical feedback on your assignment (for sure, you will walk away having learned something new),
  • go through extra questions to understand how you think and approach problems,
  • and have a meaningful conversation about things that matter – your motivations, strengths, ambitions, and the way we work as a team.

This isn’t just us getting to know who you are. It’s also you getting to know who we are.

4. Deliver Meaningful Value – Your First Real Project

If we’re a match, you’ll join a real project already in the second half of February. From your first weeks, you will work on features that reach real users and solve concrete problems.

Whether you join part-time or full-time, you’ll grow with us.

If you start as an intern, you’ll work with the same level of responsibility, and if your internship goes well, there’s a path to becoming a junior developer at Kodality.
